Today is Back British Farming Day a chance to celebrate the farmers, families and rural businesses that keep Britain moving.
For those of us working in and around agriculture, though, backing British farming isn't something that happens once a year.
It's every day.
British farming is more than food
When we think about farming, it's easy to think first about what ends up on our plates. But British agriculture reaches much further than that.
Farms support thousands of rural jobs and businesses, look after huge areas of the British countryside and sit at the heart of communities across the country.
And behind every farm are people working long days, often in difficult conditions, to keep things running.
As the NFU's message for this year's Back British Farming Day puts it:
You're never farming alone.
That's an important message at a time when the industry continues to face considerable change.
An industry facing real challenges
British farmers are dealing with pressure from almost every direction: rising costs, changing agricultural policy, unpredictable weather, rural crime and uncertainty over the future of farm support.
Farm safety remains another major issue.
Agriculture involves heavy machinery, livestock, vehicles and long working hours, often with people working alone. Improving safety isn't simply about rules and paperwork it's about making practical precautions part of everyday farm life.
That's something we feel particularly strongly about at Farm Packs.
Built for the realities of British farming
We started Farm Packs with a simple idea: useful products for people who actually work in agriculture.
From seat covers designed to protect working vehicles and machinery, to vehicle mats and farm emergency packs, we're building a range around the realities of life on a farm mud, machinery, long days and all.
We're also working to make our products easier to find by tractor, telehandler, pickup, van and other agricultural machinery, while giving farms the option to add their own branding.
Because the products used on farms don't need to be complicated.
They just need to work.
Backing the people behind British agriculture
Back British Farming Day is ultimately about people.
The farmers getting started before most of the country is awake. The families working alongside them. The contractors, engineers, dealers, suppliers and rural businesses that form the wider agricultural community.
Farm Packs is still a young business, but that's the community we want to build it around.
